Crude Oil Futures Rise On Spot Demand


Crude oil for October supply traded greater by Rs 54, or 0.89 per cent, at Rs 6,116 per barrel in 5,902 tons.

Crude oil costs rose by Rs 54 to Rs 6,116 per barrel on Thursday as individuals widened their positions on a agency spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for October supply traded greater by Rs 54, or 0.89 per cent, at Rs 6,116 per barrel in 5,902 tons.

Analysts stated elevating of bets by individuals saved crude oil costs greater in futures commerce.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 1.03 per cent to USD 81.27 per barrel, whereas Brent crude traded 1.06 per cent greater at USD 84.06 per barrel in New York.
