The Central Government of India has nominated twenty-two members for the 14th time period of the Press Council of India, which was lately reconstituted for a three-year time period. The nominees had been introduced in a gazette discover dated October 7, 2021.
Ankur Dua, Vinod K Jose, Dr Baldev Raj Gupta, Dr Khaidem Athouba Meitei, Dr Suman Gupta, and Prakash Dubey have been named beneath the ‘Editors’ class, whereas Gurinder Singh and LC Bharatiya have been chosen beneath the ‘Owners or Managers of Medium Newspapers’ class. Aarti Tripathi and Shyam Singh Panwar are amongst these listed as ‘Owners or Managers of Small Newspapers.’
