Crude Oil Futures Rise On Spot Demand


Crude oil for the September supply traded greater by Rs 40, or 0.8 per cent, at Rs 5,053 per barrel in 4,786 tons.

Crude oil costs rose Rs 40 to Rs 5,053 per barrel on Wednesday, as individuals widened their positions on a agency spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for the September supply traded greater by Rs 40, or 0.8 per cent, at Rs 5,053 per barrel in 4,786 tons.

Analysts mentioned elevating of bets by individuals stored crude oil costs greater within the futures commerce.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.51 per cent to USD 68.70 per barrel, whereas Brent crude traded 0.38 per cent greater at USD 71.96 per barrel in New York.
