Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Tuesday sought the creation of a joint motion plan by Delhi and its neighbouring states to fight excessive ranges of air air pollution within the winter season.
Rai stated that Delhi will begin getting ready a “winter action plan” subsequent week and known as upon Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan to implement the measures the nationwide capital had taken final 12 months to forestall worsening of air high quality.

Rai stated a gaggle of representatives will name upon the Union surroundings minister and the Centre”s Commission for Air Quality Management and focus on the necessity of a joint motion plan which will be enforced in Delhi and neighbouring states to combat air air pollution throughout winters.
He stated Delhi experimented with Pusa bio decomposer, a microbial resolution, for fermenting stubble into manure and it yielded good outcomes.
The use of Pusa bio-decomposer needs to be scaled up and expedited in adjoining states.
“We want the governments in neighbouring states in north India to take steps in this regard. We will take up the issue with the Union minister and the central panel… If efforts in this direction are not expedited, it will be tough to deal with the stubble burning problem,” Rai stated.
