The principal of a authorities greater secondary faculty in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district was booked for allegedly asking lady college students, who weren’t in uniform, to take off their clothes, police mentioned on Sunday. As per a grievance filed by three women with Machalpur police station, principal Radheshyam Malviya (50), on seeing them in regular garments and never the varsity’s uniform, instructed them to return carrying uniforms subsequent time, an official mentioned.

However, as per the grievance, when the ladies replied that that they had not received their uniforms stitched as faculty had simply began, however assured him they might do the needful by Monday, Malviya received offended and instructed them to take off what they have been carrying presently, he mentioned.

In a video that went viral on social media, the complainants may be heard saying that the principal instructed them such clothes have been “spoiling” the boys of the class.

“After children from the school protested, we booked Malviya on Saturday evening under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and IPC provisions for use of force intended to dishonour, insult the modesty of woman by words, gesture etc,” Machalpur police station sub nspector Jitendra Ajnare instructed .
