China on Thursday reacted positively to a Russian proposal to convene a brand new assembly of the ‘Extended Troika’ on Afghanistan in Kabul – the primary such convention for the reason that Taliban seized energy final month. “A correct settlement of the Afghan challenge requires the participation and help of the worldwide group,” Wang said. “There are many mechanisms on Afghanistan, every with its personal options and highlights, and complementing one another. China has been sustaining shut coordination with the related sides on the Afghan challenge, he mentioned.
