Ryanair to expand operations from Dublin this winter


Ryanair has confirmed it’s going to add 14 routes to its winter schedule from London.

In complete, the provider will provide 142 routes from Stansted, Luton and Gatwick later this 12 months.

As journey recovers to pre-Covid ranges, Ryanair stated its progress continues to guide site visitors, tourism restoration and jobs within the UK.

The low-cost provider will create over 500 new jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers at its London airports because it gears up for extra progress subsequent summer season.

Ryanair chief govt, Michael O’Leary, stated: “Ryanair is committed to re-building the London’s tourism industry, jobs and connectivity as we grow across Europe and recover air travel to pre-Covid levels.

“As Ryanair takes delivery of 55 Boeing 737-8200 Max aircraft this winter, we are delighted to announce these 14 new routes from our three London airports in Stansted, Luton and Gatwick.”

Ryanair shall be providing new flights from Stansted to Stockholm, Helsinki, Oradea (Rome), Zagreb, Tampere, Treviso and Trapani, whereas there shall be new departures from Luton to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Grenoble, Naples, Shannon and Turin.

Gatwick will welcome a brand new path to Malaga.

O’Leary added: “As vaccinations rise and shopper confidence returns, Ryanair once more calls on the UK authorities to scrap PCR assessments for fully-vaccinated arrivals and likewise to droop air passenger responsibility (APD), to permit airways and airports shortly get better connectivity, jobs and tourism within the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.
