Gold Futures Fall On Low Demand


Gold contracts for October traded decrease by Rs 29, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 47,091 per 10 gram in a enterprise turnover of 11,361 tons.

Gold costs fell by Rs 29 to Rs 47,091 per 10 gram within the futures commerce on Wednesday as speculators lowered their positions amid low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October traded decrease by Rs 29, or 0.06 per cent, to Rs 47,091 per 10 gram in a enterprise turnover of 11,361 tons.

Analysts attributed the autumn in gold costs to trimming of positions by individuals.

Globally, gold traded 0.28 per cent decrease to USD 1,813 an oz. in New York.
