Delhi: Devotees not allowed to go to temples on Janamashtami

As per the DDMA (Delhi Disaster Management Authority) pointers, the Delhi Police on Sunday introduced that devotees won’t be allowed to go to temples on Janamashtami. The pointers prohibit spiritual gatherings resulting from COVID-19.

RP Meena, DCP, South-East, Delhi Police talking to ANI stated,” Devotees will not be permitted to visit temples on Janamashtami as DDMA guidelines prohibit religious gatherings.”

Hre additional stated, “We will urge people to celebrate it at their homes & not to gather at temples. Action will be taken against those violating guidelines.”

Meanwhile, Delhi reported 29 recent COVID-19 circumstances on Saturday, in keeping with the state well being bulletin. There are as many as 393 energetic coronavirus circumstances.
