NCL to launch Rs 3.5 crore Skill Development Project


Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna firm beneath the Ministry of Coal, introduced on Saturday that it could be launching a talent improvement venture price Rs 3.5 crore to impart coaching to 500 youth residing in and across the operational areas of the corporate. The coaching can be within the space of plastic engineering commerce with the target of making certain their job readiness within the aggressive market.

NCL will spend Rs 70,000 per trainee beneath CSR for this residential coaching program which is able to embrace the course payment, course materials, uniform, coaching equipment, lodging and different overhead expenses. The coaching can be organized with the assistance of the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Chennai and an MoU has been signed between NCL, Coal India Limited and CIPET on this regard.

A two day screening session, in affiliation with NCL was organised by CIPET at Nigahi and Khadia initiatives to pick out eligible candidates and about 345 had been chosen for the programme. Other areas through which the candidates can be given coaching embrace plastic processing, injection moulding, blow moulding, plastic recycling, and so forth.
