NCL All Set To Launch Rs 3.5 Crore Skill Development Project

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna firm, beneath the Ministry of Coal, is all set to coach 500 youth, dwelling in and across the operational areas of NCL, within the Plastic Engineering commerce, stated the Ministry in an announcement, on Saturday. 

This step will be sure that to supply them jobs out there. The coaching can be organized with the assistance of the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Chennai, the Ministry added. 

Meanwhile, NCL goes to spend Rs 70,000 per trainee beneath Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for this residential coaching program containing course charges, course materials, uniform, coaching package, lodging, and different overhead expenses. 

“The selected candidates will be imparted training in plastic processing, injection moulding, blow moulding, plastic recycling, etc, by the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) at its centers located at Bhopal, Gwalior, and Lucknow. This training program has been prepared as per the norms set by the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and approved by the National Skill Qualification Committee (NSQC),” stated the Ministry. 

NCL and Coal India Limited and (CIPET), Chennai have already signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). 

Talking concerning the collection of candidates, NCL and CIPET carried out a two days screening session at Nigahi and Khadia initiatives. Also, a complete of 345 candidates had been chosen for the talent growth programme. The remaining candidates can be chosen in upcoming screening rounds, the Ministry knowledgeable.
