HCAH Acquires SuVitas Holistic Healthcare


The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), on Monday, mentioned that it has permitted the appointment of Vedveer Arya, Indian Defense Accounts Service (IDAS) as Additional Financial Adviser (FA) and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defense (Finance).

Appointment of Vedveer Arya, Indian Defense Accounts Service (IDAS), batch 1997 as Additional FA and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defense (Finance) for a tenure of 5 years from the date of assumption of the cost of the put up or till additional orders.

“Appointment of Vedveer Arya, lDAS (1997) as Additional FA & Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defense (Finance) for a tenure of 5 years from the date of assumption of the cost of the put up or till additional orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Subir Mallick, IA&AS (1989),” the official notice read.

Also, the ACC has also appointed Sanjay Kumar, Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) as Additional FA and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defense (Finance). Prime Minister Narendra Modi headed the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), permitted the appointment of Kumar together with 44 others, as per the order by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet additionally appointed Abhay Singh, a 2004 IAS batch of the Bihar cadre, and Vijaya Lakshmi Nadendla, lAS (BH:1995) as Joint Secretary Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. Apart from that, Priya Ranjan, Indian Forest Service (IFoS) of the Rajasthan Cadre from the 1998 batch as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, for a tenure of 5 years has been appointed, the official notification added. 

In the order, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has permitted appointments, untimely repatriations of lots of the officers on the Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary equal degree.
