Ladakh Lt Governor R Ok Mathur on Thursday launched numerous initiatives as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on the second anniversary of creation of the Union Territory of Ladakh. Mathur flagged off a sustainable cleanliness drive with the tagline ‘Swachh Ladakh Swasth Ladakh’ at Skara Spang together with 5 e-buses every for Leh and Kargil districts, an official spokesman mentioned.

A cycle rally was organised by the Ladakh Police during which greater than 50 cyclists took half. He highlighted the initiative of the Tourism Department to conduct a cleanliness drive each month to maintain Ladakh clear. Khan reiterated that cleanliness is an on a regular basis exercise and carefully linked to well being.
